How InspectExam works

A plain-language guide to what this site is, how to use it, and what to expect. The Terms, Refund Policy and Disclaimer are the binding rules and control if anything here differs.

What it is

• An independent practice tool for the national home inspector exam. Not affiliated with EBPHI, any testing vendor or any state board.
• 3,517 original practice questions written for this site. They are not real exam questions and may contain errors.
• A study aid, not a substitute for required pre-licensing education or official materials.

What to expect

• No promise of passing. Your result depends on your own study and other factors we don't control.
• Readiness scores and mock percentages are rough practice estimates, not official scaled scores.
• State licensing rules vary and change. Checking your state's requirements is up to you.

How to use it

1. Try the free 10-question quiz (no signup, no card).
2. If it suits you, pick a plan. Read the Before you buy box and tick the agreement box.
3. After payment you return here and access unlocks on this device. Keep your Stripe receipt.
4. Read the study guide, practise by task, then take timed 200-question mocks.
5. Use the dashboard heatmap and spaced review to revisit weak areas.

Your data

Progress is saved only in this browser on this device. Clearing browser data or using "Reset progress" erases it, and we cannot restore it.

Payments and refunds

• One-time payment for 3, 6 or 12 months. No auto-renewal. Access ends automatically.
• 7-day refund if you have answered 100 or fewer questions and not started a mock.
• The Pro + Retake Refund Option plan has a conditional Retake Refund Option, capped at the price you actually paid, with strict conditions. It is not a guarantee of passing. Read the full conditions.
