Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and InspectExam ("we", "us"), operator of InspectExam (the "Service"). By using the Service or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Disclaimer and, if you use it, our Referral Program Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service or make a purchase. A plain-language overview is on our Read me first page; if it differs from these Terms, these Terms control.
1. Eligibility
The Service is intended for adults 18 or older located in the United States. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
2. What you get
Paid plans are a one-time payment for personal, non-transferable access for the period shown at purchase (3, 6 or 12 months). Access ends automatically when that period ends. There is no automatic renewal.
3. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We never see or store your full card number. Prices are in US dollars and may change for future purchases; a change never affects a purchase already made.
4. Acceptable use
You may not copy, scrape, resell, share account access to, or redistribute questions or other content; reverse-engineer the Service; or use it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend access for violations without refund.
5. Intellectual property
All questions, explanations, software and design are owned by the operator of InspectExam or its licensors and are protected by copyright. Exam names and other marks belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe the exam this Service helps you study for.
6. No guarantee of results
Your exam result depends on your own study and many factors outside our control. We do not promise or guarantee that you will pass any exam, obtain a license, or achieve any score. The limited, conditional refund described in the Refund Policy is a refund of the purchase price only. It is not a guarantee of passing.
6A. No reliance; accuracy
The Service is a practice and study aid only. Questions, explanations, study notes, readiness scores and exam facts are provided for general educational purposes, may contain errors or be out of date, and are not official exam content. You should not rely on the Service as your only source of preparation or as a statement of any law, code or standard.
6B. Your responsibility
You are solely responsible for your own study, for confirming current exam details, fees and policies with the exam provider, and for verifying your state's licensing requirements (education, exams, insurance and other requirements), which vary and change.
6C. Support
Support is provided by email on a best-effort basis. We aim to reply within 24 hours but do not guarantee any response time or outcome.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, AVAILABILITY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your needs or produce any result. Content may contain errors or become outdated. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so some of them may not apply to you.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, EXAM FEES, RETAKE FEES, LOST INCOME OR LOST TIME. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. THESE LIMITS APPLY TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Governing state], without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
11. Dispute resolution and class-action waiver

12. Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may change, add or remove features or content, or update these Terms, at any time. Updated Terms take effect when posted with a new effective date; your continued use after that means you accept them. Changes do not alter a refund already approved. We may discontinue the Service; if we do so during your paid access period, we may, at our discretion or where required by law, offer a pro-rata refund of the unused portion as your sole remedy.
